Keir Graff recently made his debut as a children’s author with
the middle-grade novel The
Other Felix. In a glowing review of that book, School
Library Journal wrote: "The story has a beautifully crafted
innocence reminiscent of The Little Prince. This is a satisfying
tale in and of itself, as well as a helpful and sensitive guide
for those children who are just learning to confront life’s sticky
challenges. The ending is exquisite."
His 2010 novel, The
Price of Liberty, was a finalist for the Society of Midland
Authors fiction award. He has published three other books for adults,
many short stories, and hundreds of articles and book reviews.
By day, he is the editor of Booklist
Online, a publication of the American Library Association.
He lives in Chicago with his wife and two young sons.
